Job Responsibilities
This technical will be situated in Singapore and report directly to the APAC General Manager. Serving as the crucial link between distributors and the company, you will oversee a region primarily encompassing Southeast Asia, drawing upon prior experience.
The primary objectives will include:
Training and managing distributors within the designated region, coordinating joint visits with customers
Acting as the foremost technical authority on active ingredients, encompassing mechanisms of action, scientific literature, formulation insights, and more
Addressing technical and regulatory inquiries from customers
Assisting with regulatory compliance in Asia, including the preparation of local Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and obtaining halal certification in Indonesia
Arranging seminars and webinars for distributors and customers
Expanding and diversifying sales channels
Providing regular country-wise forecasts and reports
Participating in local trade shows and contributing to the design of posters/booths
Equipping distributors with marketing resources such as presentations, brochures, videos, and FAQs
Key Competencies for the Role
Hold a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
4 years of experience in B2B sales within the cosmetic industry, preferably in the sale of cosmetic ingredients
