Work hour : 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday - Friday)
What You'll Do:
- IT Governance & Security: Ensure the reliability and security of our network and infrastructure. Monitor network health and maintain robust security measures.
- Network Management: Design and implement office network topology, manage cabling and firewall configurations, and oversee both physical and virtual security.
- Proactive IT Monitoring: Keep an eye on IT operations, identify risks, and manage issues promptly. Provide incident reports and ensure IT services align with our SLAs.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with Corporate IT and external vendors to find technical solutions for various IT components like infrastructure, networks, and servers.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply patches, upgrades, and security measures to both Windows and Linux systems. Stay ahead of vulnerabilities and ensure our systems are secure.
- Hands-On IT Operations: Manage Active Directory, DNS, file servers, printers, email systems, antivirus software, backups, and secure file transfer protocols.
- End User Support: Provide Level 2 support to our team, whether onsite or remotely. Be ready to offer standby support during outages.
- Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary to ensure minimal downtime.
- Compliance & Auditing: Perform regular audits to ensure we meet all IT policies and regulations.
- Documentation & SOP Adherence: Maintain thorough documentation and follow standard operating procedures for tasks like account creation and termination.
What We're Looking For:
- Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Chinese counterparts.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred, but we also value relevant diplomas coupled with strong experience.
- Cyber Security Expertise: Experience in OS hardening, security log review, and risk mitigation.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in IT network and system administration, with a solid understanding of office administration.
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 3 years of relevant experience. However, if you’re passionate and demonstrate a strong interest in the field, we’d love to hear from you.
- Growth Potential: A willingness to convert to a permanent role based on performance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a knack for troubleshooting.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent technical skills combined with an approachable demeanor and a strong sense of ownership. Adaptability and a proactive attitude are essential.
