Responsibilities:
- Plan and design the program, proactively monitor its progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions.
- Define the program's governance arrangements.
- Ensure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of the program, focusing on internal consistency and coherence with infrastructure planning and corporate standards.
- Manage the program’s budget, monitor expenditure, and compare costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses.
- Facilitate the appointment of individuals to project teams.
- Ensure the delivery of new products or services meets the required quality, timing, and budget, in line with the program plan and governance arrangements.
- Allocate common resources and skills within the program's individual projects.
- Manage third-party contributions to the program.
- Manage communications with all stakeholders.
- Dependency and Interface Management:
- Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects.
- Manage risks to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Work with the business change manager on the transition to the new business-as-usual state.
- Report program progress at regular intervals to the SRO or program director.
- Participate in tender solutioning, pre-sales, project management, operation, and support for the specific business unit.
- Coordinate internal tech projects, conduct requirement gathering, draft project charters, seek approvals, implement projects, and maintain them for 6 months post-completion.
- Perform discovery studies on all BU systems (legacy and new) and plan for data center consolidation and migration to AWS landing zone.
- Serve as the single point of contact for the business unit for any technology-related matters and coordinate with sister departments such as GIS.
- Oversee on-premises system migration to AWS cloud.
- Collaborate with the technical team on strategic projects, including next-gen contact centers and Argus.
- Participate in all tender bids.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in program management with software management capacity, including all aspects of design thinking for processes and program delivery.
- Strong familiarity with project management software.
- Competent and proficient understanding of IT networks, systems, cloud platforms, and telecommunications.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development (e.g., .Net, Java, Outsystems, native cloud developments).
