Job Responsibilities


· Lead and direct all creative, developmental, production, technical, administrative, and operational aspects of entertainment, special events and resort activities.

· Oversee the smooth running of the entertainment operations across the resort including Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, MICE facilities, hotels, Food and Beverage outlets and resort-wide entertainment and décor. This covers the programming and provision of live entertainment performers, technical support, art design and costuming, legal and licensing matters.

· Provide vision and creative guidance and direction on new shows, special events, resort activities and attractions’ products, including writing, casting, direction, choreography, audio-visual development, design, technical direction, licensing and rights negotiations.

· Collaborate with entertainment partners and event organisers to create new business opportunities that will generate untapped revenue and enhance unique, brand specific guest experiences.

· Oversee fiscal obligations, including capital projects planning with stakeholders from other Business Units.


Job Requirements

· At least 15 years of relevant experience in Events or Themed Entertainment Producing and Management, with 5 years as Head of Department.

· Experience in creating business plans and concept pitches including a complete fiscal budget.

· In tune with industry trends and technologies, and able to envision and implement new solutions to enhance resort offerings.

· Strong network of entertainment partners and event organisers.

· Strong producing/entertainment project management skills, and good knowledge of technical production, development and design.

· Ability to manage commercial and creative entertainment aspects with prevailing resources.

· Strong people skills and the ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent presentation and written communications skills.

· Resilient, adaptable and able to work through issues and provide solutions in a challenging and fast paced environment.
