Job Description:
- Implement and manage all quality control (QC) procedures, documentation, and record-keeping to ensure compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect assembly lines and production processes to verify adherence to established standards and procedures. Ensure all components meet the required specifications.
- Conduct daily inspections post-pour and pre-delivery to ensure components are defect-free before shipment. Document and report findings promptly.
- Identify and report non-conformances to the Quality Manager. Facilitate immediate corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Work closely with project planners to develop and refine daily, weekly, and monthly delivery schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure they adhere to delivery schedules and quality standards. Address any deviations promptly.
- Arrange appropriate storage for products to prevent damage. Conduct monthly stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate the testing of raw materials such as rebar, aggregates, cement, and precision tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Lead both internal and external quality assurance (QA) audits, including ISO 9001 audits. Ensure all processes comply with relevant quality standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to address technical issues. Work with subcontractors to resolve quality concerns..
- Prepare monthly reports analyzing quality control data. Provide management with recommendations for improvements and preventive measures.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in Civil and/or Construction Engineering
- At least 3 years of working experience in the civil construction industry
- Experience in all QA/QC functions.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice.
