- Plan and raise production order according to manufacturing process, Sales/forecast order quantity, Delivery date and customer agreement.
- Monitor Inventory control based on forecast, Sales demand and customer agreement
- Overseeing planning to ensure smooth day to day operations and customer delivery are met.
- Prepare & Review Monthly Machine Utilization and capacity planning report based on customer given forecast. Highlight if any capacity shortage.
- Monitor any Ageing stock and provide justification.
- Optimise manufacturing efficiency and costs. Review weekend overtime plan and reduce wastage.
- Prepare monthly KPI report and CIP
- Identify delays and adjust schedules accordingly to meet deadlines.
- Assist in any ad hoc situation, mitigate plan before any line down.
- Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of working experience as Planning role with Manufacturing experience
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably with Secondary processes & Metal Injection knowledge will be an added advantage
