Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage logistics and distribution activities for our Company. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with suppliers, carriers, internal team and customers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers. The candidate should be meticulous, possess strong organizational and communications skills as well as a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.


Working Hours: 5 days, Mon - Fri (9.00am – 6.00pm)

Annual Leave: Starts with 10 days with increment of 1 day every 2 year up to 20 days

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the shipments of goods from suppliers to customers.
  • Carry out shipment booking and liaise with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Source and negotiate of freight rates with shipping agents, forwarders and 3PL.
  • Plan and optimize shipment routes to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
  • Track and update shipment status, ensuring accurate and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure shipping compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve any transportation or distribution issues or delays promptly and escalate when needed.
  • Support and assist Account Manager for inquiries and quotations.
  • Assist Account Manager on RFQ and coordinate reports as and when required.
  • Issue invoices to customers and handle invoices discrepancies with customer.
  • Perform any tasks assigned by Superior.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Attention to details – follows procedure accurately, carefully and completes documents and report accurately.
  • Able to work independently, with maturity and a team player.
  • Willing to work beyond regular work hours to address supplier, agent or customer inquiries.
  • Familiar with import/export regulations and customs procedures.
  • Meticulous and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Flexible, can adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.
  • Good customer relationship management skills.
  • Able to read and write in Chinese as this role requires to liaise with Chinese suppliers and customers extensively.
  • Prior experience in logistics coordination or a similar role is an advantage.
