○ Work collaboratively with various departments to develop a K-12 STEAM Programme and
integrate 21st-century learning and digital skills across the School.
○ Collaboratively plan, teach, or model learning activities using research-based practices
that support the effective integration of technology into the school programmes and curricula.
○ Build staff capacity and efficacy to integrate technology into their practice both in and out
of the classroom.
○ Partner with appropriate staff to design and/or deliver a meaningful digital citizenship
curriculum.
○ Supply appropriate and timely support with student technology misuse.
○ Sharing with families regarding school practices and appropriate home technology.
○ Managing learning platforms administrative services as they pertain to the ETC role.
○ Oversee the purchase, deployment and maintenance of technology resources related to
digital learning environments.
○ Coordinates with the school for timely reporting of other support issues.
○ Provides support and direction for media activities of related programmes.
Qualities of the ideal candidate:
1. Have a teaching qualification and related formal qualification;
2. Has an extensive experience in education in both teaching and technology roles;
3. Has the ability to motivate and inspire teachers.
4. Has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing to
staff, students and parents.
5. Has a track record of strong knowledge of use of Google Workspace, Lego, robotics
competition and Apple products in education.
6. Preferred experience in various technology/audiovisual equipment for instructional
purposes.
7. Demonstrated experience using technology supported learning initiatives in the
classroom such as blended learning, inquiry-based learning, STEAM, and design
thinking.
8. Skilled in collaborating with individuals and teams and, when appropriate, instructing,
monitoring, and assessing performance; using training and instructional methods
suitable for the situation; using various educational tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher ( is a must). Must have teaching qualification certificates.
- Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
- A passionate educator with the ability to deliver inquiry based learning.
