Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor chemical processes and equipment as instructed, ensuring safe & secure and efficient operations.
- Carry out routine checks and scheduled cleaning procedures.
- Material handling and sampling for QC analysis. Work according to material segregation requirements and apply appropriate labelling and identification.
- Collect and record data according to production instructions, checklists or logs.
- Comply with rules and procedures regarding Health & Safety, Production / Process operation, Quality Assurance, record- and housekeeping.
- Report material and process abnormalities and / or need for equipment maintenance.
- Work as a Team member, support colleagues as and when required.
- Assist in troubleshooting, problem resolution and commissioning as required.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager.
Requirements:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Chemical or related industries.
- Good understanding of Safe Working Practices and Good Documentation Practice
