We are now looking for an IT Architect & Integrator to join our DevOps team in the Singapore office.
The IT Architect & Integrator is responsible for system deployment according to DevOps principles for various environments for customers in the public safety environment. The jobholder develops automated software delivery processes as part of the DevOps Cloud Solutions team and creates future-proof system architectures for our communication solutions. He/she ensures that our solutions fit seamlessly into our customers' IT environments.
Furthermore, it ensures the robustness, performance and security aspects within the architectural design. He/she identifies dependencies and drives the clarification of technical requirements with stakeholders at customers to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution.
He/she works closely with the product lines and conducts technical coordination with customers. Important communication interfaces also include sales for sales support, bid management in the preparation of offers, as well as project management and other specialist departments during project execution.
Implementation of the requirements process regarding system architecture:
- Creation of system architectures in coordination with the customer and the internal team. Responsible for parts of the architecture and the E2E (end-to-end) solution.
- Arrangements with the various suppliers to integrate the products into the architecture.
- Integration of the solution into the customer system. Installation and planning of the necessary steps in consultation with the customer.
- Improving the integration environment in all areas. (Deploy, Test, Configure)
- Representation and presentation of system concepts and solutions to customers as part of support, offer phase and project execution.
- Support of product and release management regarding generic solution and specific project requirements as well as general market requirements.
- Requirements analysis, specification, implementation and acceptance of the system solution taking into account all subsystems in customer projects.
- Responsible for the technical feasibility of the system solutions to be used and independent implementation of the system engineering milestones as well as ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- If necessary, control of internal assignments and/or subcontractors
- Support of validation, verification and services; care with test specification, test case description, error analysis and evaluation, service concept
- Independent coordination of system engineering work packages with assurance of quality, cost and time frames, as well as, if necessary, technical leadership of a (sub-)project team within the scope of the above tasks
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or Communications
- Several years (at least 3+ to 5 years) of relevant experience with enterprise network technologies and working in complex IT environments
- Experience in the Public Safety industry is an advantage
- Sound understanding of virtualization techniques, hypervisor environments and containerization technology
- Experience in scripting and DevOps tools and techniques such as GitLab CI, Ansible and Terraform
- Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture is a huge advantage.
- Strong system-level troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve high-level scalability and performance issues
- Awareness of security threats and corresponding security know-how
- Excellent communication skills to address needs and propose solutions towards customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong understanding of standard software development methodologies, such as Kanban, Scrum and SAFe
