Hiring: Assistant Horticulturist
Job Description :
- Provide detailed reports to the Horticulturist on landscape maintenance matters, covering trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers, and aquatic plants.
- Support the development and execution of a maintenance plan in line with international standards for golf course landscapes.
- Manage and control the budget for landscape maintenance and projects effectively.
- Plan, organize, schedule, deploy, and train the Course Superintendent, Workshop & Equipment team, Groundsmen, and Landscape Course Supervisors.
- Assist in tree inspection across the property to ensure health and aesthetic appeal.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and schedules.
- Assist with administrative tasks for the horticulture and turf departments.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job requirement :
- Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Landscape, Biology or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in horticulture
- Experience in event plant display, both with real and artificial plants
- Possess knowledge and experience in andscape and design.
- Good botanical knowledge
- Proactive
- Eyes for details
- Good Communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel
- Possess leadership qualities with good interpersonal skill
