This position is based in Hong Kong (New Territories)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites.
- Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure worker safety.
- Create and implement health and safety policies to reduce accident risks.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Investigate accidents to determine their causes.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Maintain detailed records of accidents, inspection findings, and corrective measures taken.
- Ensure accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Familiarize workers with evacuation procedures and safety protocols
- Regularly inspect workplaces, equipment, and work areas to identify and assess potential hazards.
- Address any unsafe conditions promptly
- Prioritize health and safety in all aspects of work
- Liaise with site operations staff and project managers on safety and health issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Min 3 years in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent attention to detail to identify hazards and assess risks.
- Ability to effectively communicate safety guidelines to a diverse workforce.
