Responsibilities:
- Collate market insights, supplier and business requirements to formulate strategy jointly with Market Procurement, mainly for renewable energy categories.
- Accountable for developing strategies and leading initiatives for the assigned categories in alignment to company’s strategies to gain buy-off from respective stakeholders.
- Actively engaging business stakeholders and market procurement leads to understanding business priorities and guide stakeholders to propose and execute the operational strategies with consideration to risk mitigation and governance
- Achieving greatest value contribution and realize the benefits from the category strategies.
- Lead RFx creation/management, market research/analysis, data collection/analysis, and contract management (cost, terms and conditions, SOWs, MSAs, etc.). Lead supplier negotiations, performance, and relationship management.
- Identify new potential suppliers and develop suppliers
- Act as a functional assurance for procurement in project reviews, support business to achieve optimum business results and supply chain risk mitigation
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder with minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Strong team player with strong communication with concise message.
- Proven track record on category management for EPC, MRO, Opex/Capex spend preferably in renewable energy, oil and gas or chemical industries
