OSAKI United International Pte Ltd (“OUI”) is Singapore-based investment holding company. OUI is the parent company of Singapore-headquartered EDMI Limited (“EDMI”). EDMI is one of the leading Smart Energy Solutions providers focusing on designing, developing and manufacturing of advanced energy meters and metering systems for the global utility industry.
Internal Auditor
OUI is looking to hire an Internal Auditor. This role is expected to assist and support OUI IA Department in improving the internal controls and governance processes of subsidiaries under OUI Group. You will be exposed to various Internal Audit work as well as related ad-hoc projects. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in Internal Audit and gain international work exposure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in coordinating and executing approved risk-based internal audit plans.
2. Perform process walkthroughs and analysis.
3. Identify relevant risks in the process, areas of weaknesses or improvement opportunities, and propose recommendations to improve controls.
4. Execute test procedures of key controls. Ensure proper documentation and communication of audit observations and work performed.
5. Drafting of audit findings and reports.
6. Perform follow-up audits to assess the adequacy of the implementation of audit recommendations.
7. Assist with adhoc projects.
Requirements
1. Possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Finance / Accounting.
2. Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply (training and guidance will be provided)
3. Sound knowledge of risk based auditing, auditing techniques and internal control concepts
4. Demonstrate keen willingness to learn about business processes and internal controls.
5. Meticulous and independent worker.
6. Able to travel for overseas business trips (~20%)
7. Candidates with the following will be favorably considered but not mandatory
(i) Prior working experience within manufacturing sector
(ii) Possess SAP system knowledge and/or Data Analytics skills
(iii) Knowledge of other asian language(s) (*For occasional liaising with non-English speaking overseas colleagues.)
