Responsibilities:
- Primary Duty is to focus on sourcing resin used for injection molding processes.
- Assist in sourcing buyout components, materials, subcontract processes, and production indirect materials.
- Collaborate with Business Development, R&D, and factory teams to ensure effective project sourcing.
- Conduct thorough supplier selection evaluations and provide recommendations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable commercial and contractual terms, maximizing benefits for the company.
- Implement cost reduction strategies in purchasing.
- Promote continuous improvement among suppliers in quality, service, delivery, cost, and adherence to quality system requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives.
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Polymer Science, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of resin brands, grades, manufacturers, and distribution channels.
- Preferably familiar with ISO9001, ISO13485, and TS 16949 Quality Management Systems.
- Proven experience in supplier management, including system audits, quality control, and contract negotiations.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP MM is a plus.
- Results-oriented, independent, and self-motivated with initiative and drive.
- Strong leadership skills, market focus, and strategic thinking abilities.
