Responsibilities
- Develop strategically for the entire Malaysia market business development and account management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure the timely delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
- Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate new business leads.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.
- Explore and generate new business opportunities using different channels to achieve company sales, profit targets.
- Work closely with Marketing, Solution and Project Management teams regarding market / customer feedback.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of extensive sales experience in Material-Handling Automation (MHA), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Material-Handling Equipment (MHE), and Logistics Warehousing industry.
- Familiarity with system integration, and intralogistics business knowledge with solution sales across various industries such as apparel, E-Commerce, 3PL, Pharmaceutical and Retail will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills, be able to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Skilled at establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships, building trust and friendly relationships with customers, thereby facilitating sales.
- Basic market analysis skills, be able to understand market demand and competition, and provide targeted strategies and plans for sales activities.
- Strong strategic planning skills, be able to set sales goals and plans, as well as effectively execute and track sales activities.
- Great problem-solving skills, be able to quickly and accurately identify and address customer problems and needs.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English.
- Understanding of speaking Mandarin is a plus.
