About the Job: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development (BD) Manager to drive sales across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the broader region. This role involves leading sales efforts and expanding business opportunities in sustainability and carbon management.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and foster client relationships, negotiate new revenue streams and actively develop sales pipelines to ensure sustained growth.
- Formulate effective sales plans and strategies, ensuring performance and results-driven approaches to meet targets.
- Address client issues and risks, serving as an escalation point.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present unique solution offerings and provide constant updates to maintain relevant internal interfaces for client project success
- Report on sales commitments and pipeline to management regularly, instilling a culture of accountability and transparency within the team.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in sales and business development
- Exhibit interest in sustainability and digitalisation services with a commitment to staying informed about evolving technology, industry trends and regulatory changes pertaining to net-zero emissions and sustainability
- Experience working with certification bodies and sustainability-related fields is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and technical understanding
- Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
