Home for the Elderly is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Director of Nursing. . We welcome applications from experienced Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADON) looking to advance their careers.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: ADONs seeking higher responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in IT to support the transition from paper to digital records.
Compensation
- Salary: $9,000 to $11,000, depending on experiences
Working Hours
- Schedule: 5.5 days per week, office hours.
Job Scope
- Supervision: Oversee and supervise all nursing staff to ensure high standards of care.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage the department's budget.
- Reporting: Report to higher management within the nursing home.
- Care Standards: Maintain high standards of patient care.
- Data Management: Manage patients’ data and medical records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with doctors, patients, and family members regarding patient health.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and onboard new nursing staff.
- Education: Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff.
- Policy Implementation: Implement new procedures and train nurses on new policies.
