We are currently looking for warm and caring Music Teachers - Piano and Vocals/Violin (Full-Time, Part-Time) to conduct 1-1 piano, violin and music explorer classes at our East (Parkway Centre) location.

Responsibilities
Teaching Music
- Conduct individual piano and violin classes and small group music explorer classes (3-4 participants).
- Create learning plans that match students' goals and exam syllabuses
- Prepare students for music exams, competitions, or performances
- Proactively communicate with parents on student goals and progress (Verbal, Written, Video formats)
- Motivate students with creative games and teaching techniques
Curriculum Development
- Contribute to the development and growth of our piano and violin programs (curriculum, programs, tools)
Working Together
- Support colleagues in creating a happy environment for student learning
- Attend staff meetings and teacher training sessions
- Work collaboratively for school activities (workshops, camps, mock exams, showcases, or concerts)
Marketing & Promotions
- Assist in marketing activities related to promoting the school
- Help with training new teachers
Front Desk/Admin
- Learn basic admin and customer service duties
- Support front desk/admin duties as needed or for staff relief cover

Requirements:
- Preference will be given to teachers who are certified to teach in both piano and violin or piano and vocals
- Primary instrument: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
- Secondary instrument - At least a Grade 8 Certificate or higher from a recognized music program such as ABRSM, RockSchool, RCM, or Trinity
- Fresh Graduates are welcome (at least 1 year's experience teaching music)
- You smile easily with confident communication skills
- A fun, creative approach to teaching music
- Able to work on weekends and weekday afternoons/evenings
We'd also love to see:
- Love teaching younger children (between 3-12) and teens
- Interest in becoming a department leader or studio manager over time
- Previous MOE registration as a music teacher a plus
- Experience teaching younger children or music discovery classes
