Estate & Facility Executive
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.
- Tuesday to Saturday: 7.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.
- Changing rotating every 2 week
- Location: Tuas
- Salary: $2000-$2500 + quarterly bonus depends on company and individual performance
Position purpose
This individual is responsible for managing entire Building, facility, project and Utility Plant, assisted by a group of managers, engineers and technicians through assigned schedule by providing decision making and approval.
Dimensions
The incumbent manages a technical team with the objective of Building, facility and Utility machineries improvement, New Machine Installation, project works and contractor improvement schedule as well as company facility full function.
Requirement:
- Facility and Estate with minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience in engineering and production sector
Job Scope:
- Report Relationship – This position reports directly to Facility manager or Engineering Consultant.
- General Department Overview – The incumbent works closely with the Facility manager and Engineering Consultant on matter of project improvement, facility issue, Utility plant and power resource performance.
- Areas of Responsibility – The incumbent is responsible for entire project works scope, contractor work plan safety aspect, and major machine trouble investigation in utility plant and power source as to meet company goal.
There are:
1. Oversee technician for routine building, utility and facility maintenance works.
2. Execute requirement for repair and troubleshooting for utility equipment. (Boiler, compressor, chiller, dryer, cooling tower, air conditioner)
3. Request for purchase of facility spare parts and accessories.
4. Liaise with PE for utility equipment servicing and overhaul
5. Machine check-sheet and documentation control.
6. Update technician attendance and overtime data.
7. Liaise with Safety Company for safety equipment routine checking for building.
- Challenges of Position – This position requires coordinate with contractor as well as negotiation with supplier. The incumbent has to manage the group of manpower, share knowledge to all technical staffs and continue develop technical knowledge to improve the operation work environment and Plant facility.
- Communication Network – The incumbent must develop general strategies and keep in alignment of company direction through communication with Engineering Engineer and Engineering Consultant. The incumbent is responsible for direct management and non-management for building, machineries, project and utility plant improvement.
- Measurement – The incumbent will be measured by success in achieving assigned utility plant, facility, machine performance, project works timely completion, as well as meeting or exceeding set company target.
