ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect feedback and craft various problem statements within the organisation to support innovation pipeline and to ensure that each stage of the design thinking framework process is applied to each initiative.
- Assist Head of Innovation in to framing and crafting the appropriate narrative for project briefs, progress reports, etc.for each new innovation to be tested and or deployed.
- Scoping and managing innovation initiatives / projects for feasibility of solutions/products to solve unique problem statements faced by the YCH Group’s world class operations and customers.
- Deployment of various solutions in accordance with the company’s innovation roadmap. This includes, but is not limited to, project management, gathering of requirements, solution design, implementation, verifying efficacy of proposed solution, training, etc.
JOB TASKS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- Work with the Head of Innovation to design and implement innovation projects throughout the innovation cycle (from problem statement framing, requirement gathering, project management and ideally regional deployment of successful projects).
- Management of innovation initiatives / projects, including working closely with various stakeholders to collect project requirements, timeline management, obtaining budget approvals and presentation to appropriate management.
- Lead in finalising relevant agreement, managing innovation partners/vendors and organising project meetings where required.
- Assist in the tracking of various project status and maintaining records of project meetings for ease of measuring and acting upon stakeholder / innovation partner feedback.
- Assist in the generation of reports, including budgetary control and commercialisation outcomes.
- Executes initiatives to achieve overall continuous development goals and driving innovation culture development within YCH Group.
- Monitoring and analysis of innovation technology trends that could improve the company's services and performance.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to explore collaboration opportunities and access innovative solutions and technologies.
- Perform other job-related tasks / projects as and when necessary or as required by the superior.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of IT systems and supply chain operations.
- Proficient in project management, solutioning and data analysis.
- Innovative, creative, inquisitive and able to work both independently and as a team player
- Ability to interact and work effectively across functional teams and at multiple levels within the organization.
- Organized and possesses ability to manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
- Strong follow up and diligence in seeing projects to completion.
