Job Description:
1.Represent JBIC to build strong relationships with local governments and corporate executives in the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Taiwan etc.). This role involves daily collaboration and information exchange with not only local governments and companies but also eight represeitative offices of JBIC and Japanese government-related organizations in the area.
2.Oversee coordination at our Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters and seven other locations (Beijing, Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila, New Delhi, Sydney), including provision of advice on various sector projects in each region, arranging collaboration between offices and with the Japan headoffices and Osaka branch, and leading projects such as organizing and facilitating regional meetings to maximize value creation across the group.
3.Present and share the regional and local knowledge including business trends to the management of JBIC and to external stakeholders. By effectively advising and reporting to the management team in Japan, contribute to forming better initiatives at a global level, including the Japan headquarters.
4.Oversee the operations of eight regional offices, through the management of each offices.
Job Requirements:
1.More than 20 years of experience in financial institutions, specializing in corporate finance and project finance.
2.More than 10 years of experience in cross-border corporate/project finance within the 20 years of financial institution experience.
3.Experience handling finance projects with a scale of at least USD100Mil or more as a Director or higher in a financial institution.
4.Comprehensive experience in financing in the sectors which are strategically important for JBIC : natural resources, energy, and infrastructure.
5.More than 5 years of experience working as a Director or higher in a public financial institution
6.Experience working in HQ of a public financial institution, preferably with experience of working in overseas branch/ rep office.
7.Deep understanding in all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the common code of conduct regarding information security of financial and Japanese government-related sectors.
8.At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Banking & Finance, Economics or equivalent.
