Responsibilities:
- Ensure the front desk and lobby areas organized, tidy and ready to greet guests.
- Provide all guests with a friendly, accurate and efficient check-in / check-out process while following the company’s policies and procedures.
- Verify guest payments and identification, ensuring all procedures are followed to protect sensitive guest information. Process all financial transactions with strict adherence to Huazhu guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure guests’ requests and queries are attended to promptly, politely and efficiently.
- Provide guests with clear directions and recommendations for places of interest including restaurants, shopping, local attractions, etc.
- Sense and respond to all guest concerns or requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track availability of rooms for check-in.
- Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, in compliance with Huazhu policies.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Be alert and report any faults, defects and unusual activity of the property to relevant departments.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's work experience in Guest Services, Front Desk or related professional field.
- Able to work on a rotating roster.
- Strong Team player and able to adapt to fast pace environment.
- Able to work independently and as well as a team.
- Multilingual languages will be an advantage.
- Able to commence employment within short notice period.
