Our client is in search of a capable Senior Accountant to oversee a diverse client portfolio and provide leadership within a team environment.
In this role, you'll lead the month-end closing process across multiple entities, ensuring precision and effectiveness. Your leadership abilities will be crucial as you mentor the team in upholding flawless accounting records and filing protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of accountants, overseeing and managing financial statements and month-end closing to ensure timely completion of clients' management accounts and financial statements.
- Provide leadership and training to the accounting team, emphasizing record maintenance, filing best practices, inter-company accounting processes, and problem-solving skills development.
- Prepare financial reports including budgeting and treasury management for a portfolio of companies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GST and Corporate tax.
- Assist with client and audit queries as needed.
- Proactively manage deadlines to ensure timely task completion.
- Willingness to be seconded to client's office when required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or related field with 4 years of experience, preferably in audit, consolidation, or reviewer roles.
- Proficiency in Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards, demonstrating strong accounting knowledge.
- Proven track record as a Senior Accountant or similar role; experience as an Outsourcing Accountant is advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of training and mentoring junior team members; proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.
