We are looking for an experienced Factual & Factual Entertainment Series Producer to join one of Asia’s largest independent production companies Beach House Pictures (BHP) in Singapore to join the Development and Production teams to provide new ideas and support new projects.
Founded in 2005 by producers Donovan Chan and Jocelyn Little and acquired by Fremantle in 2024, Beach House Pictures is headquartered in Singapore and is one of Asia’s largest independent TV & Film production companies, with a base in China and partners across Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan and India. BHP is a unique multi-cultural and multi-genre expert that has found commercial success in different key markets from the US to Asia. It specialises in creating and co-financing original IP across scripted, factual, unscripted and branded programming for regional and international platforms.
The successful candidate will need to relocate to Singapore from mid 2024 for a minimum contract length of two years.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Ideal candidate would have a good balance of factual and fact-ent programmes development and production experience, in genres ranging from true crime to science, travel to food.
- As the series producer, you will ideate, lead and execute the delivery of premium, original and high-profile productions, within time and on budget. Including organising and managing the team effectively
- A proven track record in creating visually stunning and ambitious series.
- Overseeing the direction of programmes and written and produced scripts from development/ pre-pro.
- Strong in edit producing shows and have a real flair for storytelling. Ability to supervise multiple edits, ensuring the overall look and style is consistent throughout.
- Ideally the candidate will have experience handling sensitive contributors and running teams of different sizes
- Great track record of mentoring young producers and directors
