Manage construction of assigned projects from start of construction to Commercial Operation Date (COD), ensuring compliance with assigned targets in terms of schedule, cost, while making sure all the internal requirements (e.g. HSE) are fulfilled.


Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor project schedules and budget, flagging out any potential deviations in terms of timings and costing, using the corporate tools and platforms
  • Manage contractors and other third parties in an effective and efficient manner to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Identify potential risks in terms of construction and progress, making sure these are flagged to the senior project manager
  • Enforce quality checklists for review or inspection of solar projects
  • Manage and interact with client throughout construction


Education/Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of working experience in construction / installation projects
  • Prior renewable energy or construction industry experience, particularly solar preferred


Core Requirements:

  • Proven track record of effective communications with project stakeholders
  • Good project management skills with ability to report in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Skilled in project management frameworks (eg. Gantt Chart/Scrum/PMP)
