Front Sales Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
  • Assist customers in selecting jewellery pieces that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information about products, including prices, specifications, and after-sales services.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's overall sales goals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the store's point-of-sale system.
  • Prepare and present sales reports as required by management.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the store’s products, including new arrivals and promotions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed advice to customers.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Arrange and display jewellery pieces according to the store’s merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
  • Follow all security procedures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
  • Be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales assistants and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.



Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods industry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
