Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store.
- Assist customers in selecting jewellery pieces that meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information about products, including prices, specifications, and after-sales services.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's overall sales goals.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store's point-of-sale system.
- Prepare and present sales reports as required by management.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the store’s products, including new arrivals and promotions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed advice to customers.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Arrange and display jewellery pieces according to the store’s merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
- Follow all security procedures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to management.
- Work collaboratively with other sales assistants and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient store operation.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
