About the team you are joining
You are reporting to the Senior Principal, IATA Consulting & Certifications for the Asia Pole. You work alongside a brilliant team of highly talented Consultants and Subject Matter Experts from diverse culture, backgrounds, and nationalities. The role is regional.
What your day would be like
You are responsible for supporting the delivery of aviation consulting projects and business development activities globally with a focus on the Asia Pacific and North Asia regions.
Responsibilities include:
1. Support business acquisition initiatives
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare administrative and qualification documents.
- Participate in commercial meetings.
- Liaise with IATA central, regional and local teams as required.
2. Manage and deliver consulting projects
- Contribute to project activities including but not limited to collecting data, researching information, carrying out interviews, undertaking analysis, developing models, preparing and reviewing slides.
- Lead internal and external Consultants and Subject Matter Experts assigned to the project as required.
- Manage all or parts of consulting projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality objectives.
- Contribute to the preparation of deliverables.
- Participate to client meetings and present deliverables as required.
3. Contribute to the internal and external promotion of IATA Consulting and Certifications
- Participate in promoting Consulting and Certifications activities at various events, conferences, and forums to generate awareness and increase the uptake of consultancy services.
- Support the organization of IATA social events.
Note: The incumbent is expected to spend about 70% of his / her time on project management and delivery.
We would love to hear from you if
- You possess a university degree (Masters or PhD) in Air Transport / Airline Management, Business Administration, Economics or Engineering.
- You have an experience of at least 3 years within a consultancy firm working in the aviation field.
- You possess a good understanding of key issues and business economics of the aviation industry.
- You have a solid experience of aviation traffic databases.
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write reports in English.
- Knowledge of a third language such as Spanish, French or Mandarin would be an advantage.
