We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Executive, Scheduling. The successful candidate will lead a team of Bus Development Officers (Scheduling) in the creation and optimization of vehicle and crew schedules. Additionally, they will be responsible for liaising with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and our operation team to deliver achievable and realistic schedules and solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Bus Development Officers (Scheduling) in the creation and optimization of vehicle and crew schedules.
  • Liaise with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and operation team to deliver achievable and realistic schedules and solutions.
  • Oversee and achieve company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in and complete tender submissions.
  • Manage and supervise Bus Development Officers in the production of vehicle and crew schedules.
  • Accurately generate reports required for BCM Tenders, annual company budget, or as requested.
  • Ensure quality runtime submissions.
  • Investigate public feedback from internal Feedback Management Portal or LTA.
  • Generate and analyze data for problem identification and resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend efficiency improvements through data analysis.
  • Maintain systems under Scheduling, including enhancements, IT security-related checks and processes, and administrative tasks.
  • Vet Authority Instructions and raise forms for service continuity.
  • Undertake any other projects assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Degree holder or equivalent qualification.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Preferably with at least 1 year of managerial experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and sensitivity to numbers.
  • Open to taking on tasks/projects outside of assigned job scope.
  • Keen interest in learning from other areas of the business outside of own immediate areas of concern.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
