Configuration Management ( CM ) Manager
A) Job Description :
1) Manages the CM team to provide day-to-day CM and Document Control activities including identification, change control, status accounting, document control, records management, and internal user support.
2) Work with software managers/developers to oversee the code releases
3) Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
4) Perform software building. Maintain and optimize script for automation buildings. Able to extend or create new automation building to fit requirements. Troubleshooting building error.
5) Prepare software release notes
6) Responsible for software installation package.
7) Maintain and document release updates and history.
8) Manage configuration baseline for software / schematic / database releases
9) Regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into Perforce.
10) Maintain DOORS, Perforce, JIRA and building tools. Able to provide tools solution to improve processes.
11) Help to build automated deployment tools for site deployment using configuration management technology.
12) Able to work with CI and CD tools, and source code control such as GIT, Perforce and SVN
13) Work with open-source technologies as needed
14) Assist with system admin works.
B) Job Requirement :
· Problem Solving Attitude
· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
· Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience
· Good verbal and written communication skills in English
· Familiar with Unix/Linux, Windows platform
· Familiar with GIT, SVN, CVS, JIRA, Perforce, DOORS, SonarQube, etc
· Familiar with integration version control tools
· Programming skill in scripting language: (e.g. Shell/Python/Perl/Java/JavaScript)
· Manage source code control including SVN and GIT
· Knowledge on compilation will be advantage.
