Responsibilities

a) Engineer will be involved in various solarisation programmes / projects for buildings/properties, specifically in:

· The study and evaluation of the roof structural design of various buildings/properties for suitability to install solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on the roof, and development of innovative solarisation solutions/designs for implementing solar PV on building roof with technical constraints;

· Feasibility study on developing innovative solarisation solutions/designs for unutilised building/land spaces; and

· Implementation and project management of various pipeline and on-going company’s roof solarisation projects including supervising the physical solar PV installation works.

b) Engineer will also be required to work on C&S engineering works of company’s building development projects, Renovation & Refurbishment (R&R) and Additions & Alteration (A&A) projects. Works including planning, design, consult relevant authorities/agencies, prepare tenders, review of external consultants proposals/designs, attend regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, liaise and coordinate with Clients, Consultants and Contractors;

c) Provide technical support and advice to internal departments and clients;

d) Provide technical support to non-building development related tasks, such as innovation studies, evaluation of new building system or technologies, C&S improvement / initiatives, knowledge management, etc; and

e) Assist the SO in any ad-hoc technical tasks and / or projects as directed by the SO.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE C&S ENGINEER

The C&S Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualification/requirements:

a) At least five (5) years of design and project management experience for building structures project;

b) Experience with contract value of $15 million and above for building structures project;

c) Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) and / or accreditation recognized by the Professional Engineers Board;

d) Possess good knowledge in design software such as PLAXIS, SLOPE W, ETABS, SAFE, TEKLA, Staadpro, Prokon, RAPT, SAP will be an added advantage.
