This role includes monthly updates of the General Ledger, Fixed Assets Listing, and Inter-company schedules. Additionally, the Accounts Executive may be involved in ad-hoc finance projects and systems testing as needed.
Job Description:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Monitor supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
- Verify and process employee claims for disbursement
- Prepare month-end closing documents, including General Ledger, journals, schedules, and reconciliations (intercompany transactions and bank reconciliation)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve issues
- Assist in quarterly GST submissions and annual tax filings
- Support the preparation and coordination of audits
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Administer and maintain the Fixed Assets Register
- Maintain filing, scanning, and document tracking
- Perform administrative and other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting and/or audit experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore FRS
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Meticulous, responsible, and cheerful personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong ownership and drive in executing independent tasks
