- Salary up to S$132,000 per annum
- Available to travel and be based at our factory sites (China) at least 6-9 months of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced monitoring systems to ensure product quality and optimize yield.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall product quality.
- Lead initiatives to integrate and improve abnormal quality issues within the manufacturing process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions and preventive measures.
- Drive initiatives to improve internal quality control procedures and enhance overall process capability.
- Implement best practices to streamline processes and maximize operational efficiency.
- Take the lead in addressing and improving customer-reported quality issues.
- Compile comprehensive reports for stakeholders, detailing corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Devise and implement plans to optimize quality inspection processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technological advancements to improve inspection efficiency.
- Foster open communication and collaboration across departments.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure a cohesive approach to quality management.
- Oversee personnel-related tasks, including task assignments, operation coordination, attendance and performance management.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
- Take charge of supervising the timely delivery of tasks and projects.
- Ensure that quality objectives are met within established timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8-15 years of proven experience in quality management, with a focus on manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards including TS16949 and VDA 6.3.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.
