Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing Commodity Strategies: Creating comprehensive plans for sourcing and managing specific commodities, considering market trends, cost structures, and supplier capabilities.
- Supplier Sourcing and Management: Identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet the company's cost, quality, technology, and delivery requirements.
- Cost Negotiation: Negotiating prices and contract terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals and maintain budgetary control.
- Supply Chain Support: Collaborating with business teams to address issues related to supplier capacity, scheduling, deliveries, and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly updating management on the performance of commodity strategies and making recommendations for improvements.
- Quality and Process Improvement: Working with suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance the manufacturing and business processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sourcing or commodity management
- Expertise in mechanical/electrical suppliers, cost modeling, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with ERP software
