Job Summary: The Curriculum Developer is responsible for creating, revising, and managing WSQ-compliant course materials, preparing necessary documentation for approval, crafting valid assessment criteria, anticipating and addressing potential issues, and continuously updating course content to meet the latest WSQ standards and learner feedback. This is a new position created within a training unit operated by MTFA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end course development of WSQ compliant course materials.
  • Course design, develop and revise a full set of course materials.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for approval and complete the entire process within project deadline.
  • Craft valid and reliable WSQ assessment criteria and specifications.
  • Anticipate potential short-comings and to suggest corrective actions.
  • Continuously update and improve course materials to reflect the latest WSQ standards and learner feedback.
  • Any other task as and when directed by the management.

Requirements

  • Must hold a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (IAL DACE certified) or WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP)
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in their respective domain area.
  • At least 1 full round of WSQ development experience in any domain areas i.e. Food and Hygiene, Lifesaving (First Aid Courses), Social Service, Safety & Security, etc.
  • Must possess good presentation skill and English written grammar.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator and a team player.
