Job Purpose
Responsible for Logistics and monitoring of related shipments from various sources to the respective transshipment Hub and warehouses, as well as the monitoring of its associated custom declarations by the contracted 3rd party logistics provider Scope of work is in marine transportation, inventory monitoring, contracted vendor’s billing settlement, performances from facilities within an assigned region’s facilities with the objective of shipping to customers in Asia while meeting on time delivery, preserving product quality and reducing cost
Job Responsibilities
- Support Supervisor and Manager to review the current year's logistics plan and previous year's performances for setting targets and capabilities required
- Develop accurate transport capacity forecast on a monthly basis to support the creation of feasible and reliable transportation plans during S&OP meetings
- Communicate inbound logistics plans to all relevant parties in order to ensure timely shipments and customer satisfaction within optimized costs at agreed service levels
- Report to Manager regarding any deviation in business plan and objectives with focus on assigned region's facility throughput and capability
- Communicate with Global Sourcing & Excellence and MEAF/Europe/America Solids SCM team to track, monitor and follow up on goods movement and documents required for replenishment orders into assigned region in accordance with facility capability, custom regulations and EHSS standards
- Review and verify accuracy of all import documents' data from source of productions into assigned facilities within the regions
- Manage data flow to and from contractors' systems
- Execute data flow from ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and on-line portal systems (SAP, WMS etc)
- Co-ordinate resolution of non-quality complaints from internal customers and logistics provider
- Assist Supervisor and Manager, as required, in all matters related to the operations of assigned region facilities
- Verify and process supplier (3PL) invoices as per contract / approval
- Monitor adherence with WMS at warehouses and terminals and coordinate with logistics provider for timely cargoes replenishment; issuance and pickup / clearance within given free storage time
- Conduct periodic audits of physical inventory vs SAP and vendor records and generate weekly / periodic inventory planning, reconciliation, aging and other management reports for assigned facility
- Participate in physical stock take in assigned Hub
- Generate, prepare, analyze and consolidate monthly, quarterly management performance reports for assigned facilities and Hub
- Conduct, review and manage monthly KPI performance with vendors and coordinate resolution of any operational concerns
Job Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
- At least 3 - 5 years, preferably in Shipping & Logistics Operations and warehousing management
- Prior experience in Petrochemical, Shipping or Logistics industry will be advantageous
- Proficient in SAP, VBA or PowerBI will be preferred
- Excellent in communication skills
- Good problem solving skills and able to work in a team
