As Technology Lead, you will oversee all IT matters related to the portfolio product development and technology approach with business units, technology partners and suppliers. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you will need to wear a strategic alignment and relationship hat while also juggling day to day activities such as DevOps, security checks and balances, administration managing envionments, to platform feature development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Build and own the technical platform that enables individual ventures to launch and scale.
· Be the bridge between Mandai X and Mandai IT. Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies while minimizing the impact on venture velocity.
· Work alongside the individual Venture Leads to make key technology decisions, increase cross-venture learning, and reduce duplicate work.
· Select and manage key vendor/partner relationships.
· Any other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· Masters/Bachelor degree in Information Technology/Engineering/Computer Science
· Can-do attitude - pragmatic yet convincing and able to navigate the organization and effectively build relationship at all levels.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and handle ambiguity.
· Familiar with cloud-based solutions, continuous delivery, platform engineering, observability, and infrastructure as code
· Solid understanding of solution design and architecture from MVP to Enterprise Scale
· Ability to lead development hands-on, if needed
· Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in shipping digital products and services globally
· Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
· Previous experience in a startup or innovation/venture building department/studio
· Bonus points if you have experience in gaming, edutainment and/or sustainability, tourism, or conservation industry background.
