Responsibilities:
- 80% Hunting/ 20% Farming
- New Business Development and Logistic Sales (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehousing) across Southeast Asia and Australia
- Development in Logistic Business Inventory
- Southeast Asia and Australia’s overall Sales and operation profit management
- Client management and achieve sales target (Air & Ocean)
- Logistic Sales and Business Development in Air, Ocean, Local Transportation and Warehousing field
- Build a strong Business Development team that can deliver both short-term and long-term result in Southeast Asia and Australia
- Establish national supply chain strategy to ensure that the organization grow quickly to become an absolute top tier logistics company in Southeast Asia and Australia
- Lead a team of freight sales and cooperate with procurement experts in Southeast Asia and Australia to drive the team to perform and deliver results
- Work with carriers for Air & Ocean freight to secure competitive price and stable space
- Builds, manages, and leverages internal relationships (i.e. pricing teams, marketing, IT solution, operation, etc) to ensure collaboration and maximize efficiencies and results
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- At least 15 years of Business Development experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry
- Proven years of experience/solid track record in regional organizational management for a global forwarding company
- Able to go on overseas business trips as and when required (Vietnam, Singapore, Philippine, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia)
- Knowledge about overall logistic business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse)
- Leadership experience in sales & procurement
- Strong Local transport / Air / Ocean industry network in Southeast Asia and Australia
- MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point) and MS Office Suite experience
