The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional go-to-market strategies and initiatives. You will play a key role working across multiple Regional Product Leads to structure problems and bridge together individual product areas into cohesive strategies, programs, and strategic perspectives. In addition to this you will design and implement key operational processes for a specified domain area and help Product go-to-market leadership facilitate executive discussions.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across different product owners to structure business problems as well as develop go-to-market strategies to capture opportunities.
- Gather data and conduct analyses supporting on-going hypotheses that will support executive team discussions and generate insights.
- Produce analyses, thought leadership, and strategic perspectives as well as help build problem structuring and executive communication that can be utilized for business planning within the broader team.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to obtain support for product activation programs and strategies.
- Design and implement operational processes within an aligned domain.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with executive influence and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of digital advertising.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write and convey issues clearly.
