- Provide administrative support for shipping projects such as order processing, shipping documents, invoices, purchase orders, import/export documents, etc
- Scheduling and coordination of all administrative and logistical related matters
- Deal with quotes from prospective shippers and handle claims with insurance companies if any shipment problems happen to occur
- Generate invoices, delivery order and shipping documentation including Certificate of Origin/Beneficiary’s certificate & LC documents
- Coordinate to ensure smooth shipment and timely cargo collection
- Liaise with forwarders and supplier on import/direct shipment arrangement
- Follow up on export shipment documentation, customer payment, release credit limit block
- Perform stock count and maintain good inventory record
- Handle permit declaration via TradeNet
Requirement:
- GCE O level & above
- 2 to 3 years' experience in Shipping line (Import / Export)
- Preferably with experience in import/export, Tradenet and knowledge in customs regulations
- Letter of Credit knowledge
- 5 days work (8am to 5pm) at Gul Ave (Tuas area)
- Salary $2800 - $3500
