Responsibilities:
- Achieves sales objectives and measurable goals set by management in terms of revenue as well as other financial KPIs based on budget.
- Respond to sales inquiries promptly and proactive development of new businesses for key accounts and special events.
- Manage client accounts for revenue growth and promote client satisfaction to encourage referrals.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
- Understands the needs of the ever-changing market.
- Efficient negotiation and upselling to maximize revenue.
- Able to assist in the preparation of bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts as requested to monitor business flow accurately.
- Prepare weekly forecasts of catering orders, maintain data for management reports, and contribute to business operations through collaborative discussions and related projects.
- Ensures the accuracy of bookings, event requirements, BEO at all times.
- Focuses on the client experience and is present pre and post events.
- Delivery of a Successful Event and often include elements of live music entertainment, collaboration with F&B Department, branding partnership and/or sponsorship.
- Take on administrative and logistics duties related to day-to-day operations within the department.
- Effective communication among colleagues (inter departments) in a timely manner.
- Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of related working experience required, with a proven track record.
- Experience in curation and planning of F&B, lifestyle, and/or entertainment events is desired, but not a requirement.
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Service oriented and display an eye for detail and an efficient team player.
- Self-motivated and energetic. Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks and has a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in MS Office
