Job Description
· The mechanical construction managers will assist and report to the senior construction managers for the all site matters. The construction manager will attend site coordination meeting during site execution. Coordinated installation program (CIP) will be prepared by construction manager with the assistant of engineers on the basis of close coordination with civil contractor and other stakeholders program.
· Attend coordination meeting with civil contractors, stakeholders and SWCs.
· Will manage all site activities with the support from engineers.
· Check all the shop drawing develop by the design department.
· Has a responsibility to prepare material requisition and control subcontractor’s material readiness at site to use for site installation.
· Material stocking and controlling will be under his responsibility and site coordination with the civil contractor including SWCs for access and scheduling of common loading/unloading opening usage at site.
· To assist safety officer and participate in all safety related matter to ensure safe work practice are implemented on site during execution of works.
· Will control labour assignment according to the site progress. If any delay is caused from the lack of manpower, the construction manager will report to the senior construction manager & project manager to arrange additional labours immediately.
· Will check all equipment and materials delivery are accordingly to the approved specification and ensure all the installation are accordingly to the approved shop drawing.
· Will lead the engineer to execute the final testing and commissioning and handing over of the system to stakeholders at the end of the project.
Job Requirement
· Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
· Working experience with LTA or similar government authority.
· The Construction Managers shall have minimum of Fifteen (15) engineering experience after tertiary education with at least Ten (10) years of experience in managing the construction for commercial mixed development projects of similar scale and complexity. Possess high level of integrity, good interpersonal & strong leadership skills.
