My client is a leading insurer dedicated to excellence in providing innovative investment products – they are seeking an Assistant Risk Manager due to expansion of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in comprehensive audits and assessments to identify areas of operational risk exposure.
- Review and enhance robust SOP guidelines and risk management strategies tailored to ILP products.
- Conduct documentation and draft incident reports to stakeholders and/or MAS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with min. 5 years’ experience in Compliance/Ops Risk, with exposure to audit, investment services and ILP products.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to investment services and ILP products, including but not limited to MAS Notice 307, Securities & Futures Act
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to streamline processes, challenge the norms.
- Professional qualifications in Investment, Finance or Six Sigma preferred.
