Job description :
• Provide shift work NOC operations, such as remote hand service, customer support, hotline, etc;
• Supervise Vendors to carry out scheduled NOC maintenance, structure cable installation, cross connect installation, rack installation, etc;
• Escort customer/vendor for Data Halls visit;
• Escalate problem / incident to tier 2 engineers or shift manager;
• Assist Manager / Engineer to handle Customers’ IT equipment move-in or testing;
• Assist Manager to update Inventory list / Asset list …etc;
• Temperature monitoring
Job requirements:
• Degree holder in Facilities Management / Mechanical/Electrical/information technology/network/communication/electronic information/computer
• Minimum 0-1 years relevant working experience, experience in IDC operation centre is preferred
• Familiar with critical facilities including Chiller/Cooling Tower, CRAC, UPS, STS, Genset … etc.
• Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems including MS Excel, PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience in client reporting and preparation of reports required.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• As most of our clients are China and Hong Kong-based companies and the company's headquarters is in Hong Kong, candidates will need to frequently communicate and coordinate with the headquarters and Mandarin speaking clients to execute/report projects by using English and Mandarin proficiently.
• Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands
• Other professional certificates are preferred such as IDC data center certificate: EXIN Certificate-Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or other IT certificates.
