We are looking for Treasury Front Office Manager to join our global Treasury Team in Singapore.

The key team activities include global bank relationship management, cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange and commodity risk management, Treasury policy compliance and Treasury accounting.

Specific focus is required on controlling the Group’s Treasury companies which undertake funding, liquidity and cash management and FX management for the worldwide Dyson group. Project management of cross functional implementations is part of the team’s continual transformation.

With an experienced treasury professional in position, this role will add value across the treasury space, identifying issues and solutions for Treasury Operations and wider Global Finance Operation functions.

About the role

Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer – Operations, the Manager’s central responsibility is to manage all treasury front-office activities globally.

  • Lead the development and execution of monthly foreign exchange (FX) hedging strategy, working with operational finance teams to ensure exposure forecast accuracy and ensuring resulting strategy complies with Dyson approved policy
  • Ensure appropriate trading infrastructure in place to execute required foreign exchangetrades with external counterparties. Maintain strong relationships with such counterparties to ensure efficient trading operations
  • Execute short-term borrowing actions to maintain appropriate liquidity during the month based on group cash forecast
  • Manage global cash pooling activities ensuring daily operations are executed efficiently and accurately. Ensure maximum amount of group cash is centralized and identify structural improvements to improve this result
  • Work closely with commercial and operational teams to advise on foreign exchange related matters ensuring transactional activity is conducted appropriately to efficiently manage foreign exchange risk
  • Monitor commodity and interest rate risks at a Group level and advise senior management on appropriate actions to take as the risks evolve
  • Maintain policies and procedures covering the areas of foreign exchange risk management and liquidity management to ensure the Group’s operations in these areas are conducted efficiently and with highest level of control
  • Prepare senior management reporting, including Board reports, covering areas of foreign exchange and liquidity management
  • Support the Group Treasurer in external funding actions including debt raising and other capital markets activities
  • Assist Group Treasurer / Assistant Treasurer in various improvement actions with the ability design and lead various projects including working cross-functionally

About You

  • Minimum undergraduate degree, with major in Finance, Accounting or Banking
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Treasury Operations in a multi-national company
  • Knowledge about FX regulations and infrastructure for major currencies and restricted currencies and willingness to develop and lead in this area
  • Experience in trading various FX products such as FX swaps, spots and NDFs across emerging and developed markets
  • Experience with FX management from both transaction and risk perspective
  • Demonstrated success in implementing tools, processes or products to drive efficicency in a corporate treasury environment
  • Experience with TMS (SAP preferred), trading platforms (360T preferred) and SWIFT
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (minimally Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project management experience will be advantageous
