Account Manager, Global Selling (6-month Contract)
Our client, a US MNC Dealing with eCommerce reatil; is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager for the Global Selling business. The Account Manager will be responsible for marketing the company’s global marketplaces, identifying and targeting sellers of all sizes to grow the Seller’s business around the world. The Account Manager will be chartered with locating, targeting, marketing to and managing sellers comprised of a mix of both high value and transactional Global Sellers.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a results-driven, dynamic and motivated Account Manager to drive the success for SEA sellers. The Account Manager will have experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to deliver results.
- Your responsibility is to help SEA-based Marketplace sellers catch the business opportunity on the company, utilize the company's suite of products/services to deliver new business growth and maximize revenue generation for them. Meanwhile, you should take initiative to find out business blockers or improvement area, as well as work with the internal teams to move them so as to continually improve sellers’ experience. You will prospect, present, and close high potential merchants to our various services and programs.
- You should have a track record delivering on sales goals. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, along with the ability to come up with original approaches and operational improvements. Candidates should be comfortable both in a self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership is extremely important.
- Your superior communication, organizational and inside sales skills, will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the responsibility for achieving our business objectives. This role provides ample opportunity to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and fast-moving environment.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in sales or account management role, preferably in eCommerce industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Intermediate to Advanced experience using Excel and MS Office applications (Pivot Table, vlookup, Power BI, SQL)
- Ability to prioritize work in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong problem-solving passion and service orientation
- An ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and a passion for success and winning.

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in setting up, managing, and optimizing email campaigns or other mass communication channels
- Have ability to create and articulate compelling value propositions around Amazon’s suite of products/services to sellers
- Strong analytical skills and ability to independently deal with tools (Salesforce, Excel, other internal tools)
- Experience using analysis, reporting, modelling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Location: Raffles MRT
Working hours: 9am to 6pm / Mondays to Fridays (Hybrid arrangement with minimum 3 days onsite)
