This position is responsible for managing risk engineering service in Singapore and Asia/Oceania region.
Mainly managing and perfomancing risk engineering, loss control.
a. Formulate and establish strategic goals for Risk Engineering, and communicate the business vision and goals to the team members for implementation.
b. Lead, direct and manage all activities of the Risk Engineering teams to achieve maximum effectiveness in the implementation of initiatives and the achievement of team objectives.
c. Make concrete recommendations to minimize loss ratio, such as loss prevention survey for General Cargo and risk engineering for Property and Casualty Insurance.
d. Manage and monitor the investigation, litigation, disposition and settlement of claims, in compliance with corporate claim settlement policies and procedures and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements.
e. Manage the overall quality assurance of Risk Engineering service delivery and identify opportunities that lead to higher customer satisfaction and better resource utilization.
f. Develop, implement and maintain an overall manpower plan for Risk Engineering staffs that will increase staff productivity, flexibility, skills and knowledge enhancements so that the teams can respond rapidly to changing business and customer needs, and be capable and confident of handling more complex issues.
g. Coordinate with Operations Team and other team leads to ensure efficient working of Risk Engineering Departments.

Qualifications & Experience
· Experience in General Insurance business, specially Risk Engineering activities for Japanese clients.
· This position requires to liaise and report, collaborate to Japan Headquarters and handling Japanese clients in Asia/Oceania and Japan, therefore proficiency in Japanese is a must.
· Familiar with Risk Engineering/Loss Control activities
· Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team setting Entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute voluntarily (e.g. in opportunity identification, business improvement)
· Regional business travel is required
