JOB PURPOSE
· Responsible for maintaining and developing the attraction to the highest of health and safety standards.
· Oversee the inspection and maintenance of ride, M&E services and equipment.
· Knowledge with Audio Visual system and interactive programmes and setting.
· Familiar with cinema operation on projectors and Audio programmes.
· Experience in maintaining AC chillers, Cooling Towers, Ahu’s, FCU’s and DX units.
· Follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the departments operating plan, including daily Pre-Operational Safety and Maintenance Inspections on ride.
· Performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections and preventive maintenance towards the boat ride and other M&E equipment.
· Responds to calls during operating hours on all Technical and diagnoses system failures and provide immediate and corrective action.
· Source on defective items/parts and instructional information to complete the repair process when needed.
· Troubleshoots by referring to technical manuals and while utilizing a systematic approach.
· Inputs in software application after completion of inspections, corrective action, and/or repairs made.
· Assist with the installation and maintenance of new equipment involved in a new development or project at the site.
· Ensure all equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored correctly.
· To always maintain a pleasant and approachable manner towards our guests.
· To complete any other reasonable duty as detailed by the Technical Manager and Attraction Management Team.
BUSINESS IMPACT/RESULTS
· Ensure that all the equipment is always in full working order and is covered by a consistent preventative maintenance programme of works.
· Support with ensuring site facilities and fabric of building are always safe and in good working order, and that adequate written risk assessments and safe working systems are developed and in place.
· Maintain mechanical, electrical and control systems so that safety is ensured for both members of the public and staff and so that minimal down time is achieved.
· Ensure that adequate periodic safety checks are undertaken for fire, health and safety and emergency lighting etc, and that any hazards or defects are either rectified immediately or reported to the Technical Manager as soon as they become apparent.
APPLIED KNOWLEDGE & SPECIALIST SKILLS
- Diploma in Facilities maintenance or at least 2 years equivalent experience in M&E.
- Nitec with at least 5 years equivalent experience in M&E.
- Able to hands on in mechanical replacing pneumatic, gearbox, bearing, chain, pumps and motors.
- Have good communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to supervise and liaising with contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel/Word and able to reply email.
