Mobile Application Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mobile developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality mobile games.
  2. Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of mobile game development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  3. Technical Oversight: Provide technical direction and support, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the product, design, and marketing teams to align mobile app development with business goals and user needs.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee robust testing protocols to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of mobile applications.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  7. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring that outsourced projects meet quality and timeline expectations.
  8. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular status reports for senior management, and maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes and project progress.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role within the gaming industry.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in iOS and Android development, including proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Java, and related frameworks.
  3. Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex mobile development projects, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies.
  4. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring development teams.
  5. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  6. Education: Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required
