R&D Hardware
Role:
The Motion Control R&D Engineer will be involved in the development, sustaining and localization for some automation projects. The candidate will also be required to support Sales/Service/Product Management’s request in product customization, to be in-line with SIPLACE system design.
Job Responsibilities:
· Conceptualize, develop and implement motion control algorithm for embedded system according to the development process to meet the project requirements, goals and objective.
· Support necessary function tests and software interface-level related module tests
· Work closely with R&D HQ in Munich to meet project requirement, goals and objectives.
· Ensure proper documentation throughout the development process.
· Developing new ideas and new technology to improve our products and add value to our customers. Continuous improvement of development process.
Education and Language Requirements:
- Degree / Master / PhD in Control / Mechatronics / Electrical or other relevant engineering fields
- Proficient in English
Other Requirements
· Basic knowledge in control theory or application
· Basic knowledge in SIMULINK / MATLAB
· Basic programming skills in C / C++ for embedded system
· Experience in machine or factory automation industry will be an advantage
· Proficiency in motor and driving technology will be an advantage
· Knowledge in system modelling and simulations will be an advantage
· Both junior and senior candidates will be considered
